Proposing to your significant other at the Lady Bird Lake boardwalk is an unforgettable event. The beautiful view of downtown Austin's skyline along with the sunset in the background is unmatched, especially with the lake (also known as Town Lake) shimmering behind you.
I always recommend trying to time your proposal about an hour before sunset, so that the sky is lovely and the light is golden.
Although the boardwalk can be a bit crowded with runners, bikers, and dog walkers, this spot is great because it's a bit off to the side and gets very little foot traffic. It's also relatively quiet and peaceful.
